Take a journey on the Illinois Lincoln Highway, a 179 mile National Scenic Byway. From the Indiana border, west toward the mighty MIssissippi, you will find an adventure filled with variety, rich in history and heritage. As you travel the Lincoln Highway route across northern Illinois, take the time to discover each communities' unique culture and special offerings and find a past era woven together with the present.

The mural series has been completed! The last two murals have been installed, one in Sterling at 424 Locust Street and the 35th and final mural at 150 North 15th Street in Rochelle. Sterling's mural is unique as it's made up of five smaller paintings telling the story of the Lincoln Highway radio show. The mural in Rochelle depicts the famous crossroads of transportation. Be sure to get out and see all 35 murals!
